Elizabeth earned a B.S. in Music Education and M.A. in Music Education from Central Connecticut State University. She has studied flute with Dr. Kerry Walker, Jill Maurer-Davis, Cynthia Beausang, and has attended master classes with Julius Baker, Tadeu Coelho, and Mimi Stillman. She has studied piano since she was four with Gail Vendetto Wysocki and has also studied saxophone and clarinet with various teachers from the New Haven area.
Elizabeth has taught beginning band, orchestra, jazz band, and West African drumming in Southington and West Hartford. She currently teaches instrumental music for grades four through eight in Canton. She has prepared students for middle school and high school regional auditions as well as college auditions. She has been teaching privately for over seventeen years.
Elizabeth enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two children skiing, biking, hiking, and rock climbing.
