Elizabeth has studied under the tutelage of Grammy Award-winning conductor and violinist Maestro Luiz Haza of the National Symphony Orchestra (retired) and Jorge Peña of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra (Florida). While in high school, she served as concertmaster of both the Coastal Youth Symphony of Georgia and the Glynn Academy Orchestra during her junior and senior years. Elizabeth also studied at The Brevard Music Center (NC) and The Cannon Music Camp (NC) where she was a merit scholarship recipient.
While at the College of Charleston, Elizabeth has studied with Yuiry Bekker, concertmaster of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and Lee Chin Siow, one of Singapore’s first violin soloists on the international classical stage. At The College, she is a member of the College of Charleston Orchestra as well as many chamber ensembles. Additionally, Elizabeth plays numerous weddings, church services and special events and in 2015, she made her debut performance at the Charleston Spoleto Festival.
Elizabeth Graiser discovered in high school that she loved teaching the violin as much as she loved performing. She is a patient and encouraging instructor who has taught children as young as age three as well as adults.
