About Emily

Emily Osinski began her violin studies at age three in Anchorage, Alaska. She received a B.M. in Violin Performance from the Eastman School of Music in 2006, where she studied with reknowned Borodin Quartet first violinist Mikhail Kopelman and esteemed pedagogue Zvi Zeitlin. An ever-avid performer, Emily has performed as a soloist with the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Symphony, Laredo Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and the Laredo Philharmonic, and has given solo/chamber music recitals in New York, New Jersey, Boston, Kansas, Iowa, and Texas.

She has performed in the past with the Cedar Valley Chamber Music Festival, Marini Strings, Quartsemble, Terra Vista Strings, Syracuse Symphony, Symphoria, Buffalo Philharmonic, Binghamton Philharmonic, Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, Laredo Philharmonic, and Mid-Texas Symphony. Emily's teaching career includes private lessons and chamber music coaching at the Eastman Community Music School, Hochstein School for Music and Dance, and the Kanack School. Emily now resides in Houston, where she can be found playing with the Houston Grand Opera, Bach Society, Victoria Symphony, Corpus Christi Symphony, Lux Musicae, and Divisi Strings. Emily is an active runner and mom to a boy and a girl.
