About Emma Williams

Emma Williams is a dedicated saxophonist and music educator.  She currently teaches lessons to a private studio of students in Bowling Green, KY.  She has also taught woodwind and saxophone sectionals and assisted with learning of drill and music at high schools in the Kentucky and Indiana region as well as All State help sessions at Western Kentucky University (WKU).

Emma currently performs with the WKU Wind Ensemble and two collegiate saxophone quartets, as well as learning and performing solo repertoire. She also has experience performing with the WKU Jazz Band and Symphonic Band, where she sat principal chair.  She is also playing flute with the Campus Community Concert Band, which reaches out to community members in Bowling Green, KY and encourages them to continue playing their instruments.

Emma was awarded both a music grant and an academic scholarship in 2016 from Western Kentucky University, where she studies under Dr. John Cipolla.  She will graduate summa cum laude with her bachelor of the arts degree in music in May of 2019. Emma is passionate about music and hopes to share that passion and inspire more students as she continues to expand her studio.
