About Me

Frank has a Bachelor of Music in Education from Catholic University of America.  In addition to being a private woodwind instructor for over 20 years, he also has over 20 years of experience teaching group instrumental lessons in schools as well as teaching Jazz and Concert Bands, Orchestras, as well as several Chamber Ensembles.

This experience is instrumental in his understanding the needs of band and orchestra directors. His main focus is always on the student enjoying and mastering their instrument and appreciating the wonderful world of music. Frank has taught students from the ages of 5 to 102, some with experience and others with no previous experience.

He has performed in pit orchestras for over 60 musical productions as well as conducted over a dozen high school and community theater productions. He performed in and was an associate conductor with the Southampton Community Band. Frank was a music adjudicator for the Cavalcade of Bands Marching Band Association for over 10 years.

Building a strong foundation of music and instrumental basics while utilizing supplemental instructional material that helps bring out the fun in music is imperative to his instructional methods.
