About Me

M.M. in Music Education from West Chester University (BS - Indiana U of PA), Performance experience includes Clarinetist - American Christmas Chorus Orchestra performances in Carnegie Hall, Temple University Night Owls Community Band, 28 years teaching experience as a music teacher both at High School and Elementary levels in Delaware County, as well as private music lessons.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching and playing clarinet.  I have taught beginner, intermediate and advanced students.  Making music brings excitement and pleasure that go beyond words and time.  I believe that students have a high degree of success when they are engaged and motivated. Reinforcing strong pre-skills and developing new skill technique provide a true sense of accomplishment. Setting challenging, yet attainable goals creates purpose and focus for our efforts.

Learning to play the clarinet is fun and so much more! It opens up the world of music and expression.  It provides opportunity for performing alone and with others.  Taking clarinet lessons develops skills that will help with music and with life.

Whether you are preparing the solo for the PMEA District 12 audition or just starting on your first new clarinet, there is so much waiting for us to discover and master.
