About Hannah Schoen
Young and enthusiastic, Hannah has been teaching violin for 6 years. She has 18 years playing and performing experience, starting at the age of 4 at the Northern Virginia Suzuki Music School under infamous Ronda Cole. She Also has training from Pamela Frank, Nick Kendall, Katie Lansdale, Daniel Heifetz, Gabe Bolkovsky, Brian Lewis, Eric Lewis, Marylou Speaker Churchill, James Stern and others. Hannah performed for a Bach symposium at the Smithsonian Institution at age 6, and made her solo debut with orchestra at age 14. She attended the Heifetz International Music Institution in '09, and later completed the Suzuki Violin Course called "Every Child Can!" She has performed at the Kennedy Center, Strathmore Hall and has won numerous competitions. Hannah has over 10 years orchestra experience, including her time as one of the top masters in the American Youth Philharmonic under Maestro Haza. Hannah also participated in the Greater Washington Area Suzuki Institute for 8 years.
Hannah grew up in a family where everyone played an instrument. Her life has always been about music, and her goal is to inspire others to find the same joy that she has found in music.
