About Me

Isaac Hutton is a violinist and conductor living in Fairport, NY. In addition to teaching at Music & Arts he is a teaching artist for Buffalo String Works and the ROC Music Collaborative. Isaac is a musician in the Schola Cantorum of Rochester and in summer is the chorus master for Glimmerglass Opera at Attica Correctional Facility. Isaac is the 2018 recipient of the Thelma Robinson Scholarship awarded by the International Conductor's Guild for work done in Venezuela. He attended the Greatbatch School of Music (Houghton College) where he was the Student Body Chaplain. Isaac earned a master's degree at Nazareth College of Rochester where he received the President's Community Service Award. Isaac is currently pursuing an advanced diploma in Contemporary Performance from the University of Buffalo. A native of Montana, Isaac enjoys running and hiking.
