Jameson is a highly experienced music teacher who has been helping young musicians develop their skills since 2002. He is a trumpet player who studied under James Ackley and Charles Schlueter at the University of Connecticut from 2003-2008. With his extensive knowledge and experience, Jameson has expanded his teaching skills to include french horn as well for beginner and intermediate players.

In addition to his teaching, Jameson has also served as the Music Director for the Square Foot Theatre from 2008-2013, where he coached vocalists, conducted orchestras, arranged orchestrations, played first trumpet, and occasionally performed on stage. During his time there, he produced five musicals every year with the company and worked with more than 100 casts and companies throughout Connecticut.

Jameson's passion for music lies in the great orchestral music of the legends of composition. He currently performs as the Assistant Principal Trumpet with the Connecticut Valley Symphony Orchestra (since 2015 as section trumpet, Assistant Principal since 2020), Assistant Principal Trumpet with the Beth El Temple Symphony Orchestra since 2019, and in the Trumpet section with the Hamden Symphony Orchestra since 2020.

As an educator, Jameson has helped many students achieve their goals by placing in top audition-only ensembles across the state and gaining admission to premier colleges and universities. He focuses on developing critical skills that set students up for success and enjoyment at any level of performance, while fostering a sense of self-reliance that transcends their musical studies to all aspects of their lives. Jameson structures his private studio similarly to what can be found on college campuses across the country, including frequent masterclasses, exclusive studio classes for members of his studio, and studio chamber ensembles where students learn how to musically converse.
