Areas of Instruction
From 6 years old, Janna White has pursued her love of music. Originally from Texas, Janna began taking piano lessons when she was in 1st grade, and continued lessons all throughout school until she graduated high school. She then chose to earn a B.A. degree of Music Education from the University of Texas at Tyler, where she chose saxophone as her instrument of choice. Throughout her years of experience, Janna has played many different genres, including classical, jazz, pop, and worship, among others. She began working with children in 2013, and hasn't stopped since. In 2013, she began working at the Boys and Girls Club in Tyler, TX, a summer camp also sponsored by the BGC, and she began teaching piano lessons through a studio in Tyler. Janna worked with these companies for 5 years, building up experience and leadership skills, among many other traits. In 2017, Janna decided to create her own piano studio and began recruiting students to join. In 2018, she worked as a elementary music teacher in a public school for a year. She ran her own studio until September 2019, which is when she got married and moved out here to California. Janna is excited to continue chasing after a career in music here in California.
