Voice, Guitar, Bass Guitar
Hi, my name is Jeff LaBonde, and I have been performing, writing, producing and teaching music for over 20 years. My love of music began as a child when I took up the cello and quickly grew into a passion that has taken me in many different directions over the years. I earned my undergraduate degree in vocal performance from The Boyer College of Music in Philadelphia and during those years I realized that my musical interests and talents were quite varied. I toured the country with a 17 piece band, wrote 5 original musicals and hundreds of songs, grew my skills as a guitar player, engineered and produced a few albums, conducted choirs and orchestras, directed theater, and worked both as a private teacher and the director of a church music program. The diversity of my experience makes me a highly adaptable and effective teacher. Whether you’re hoping to learn Beethoven or Beyonce’, Faure’ or Fall Out Boy, Hairspray or Handel’s Messiah, I can help you get better. I teach vocal performance, guitar, bass guitar, songwriting, production, and music theory to students of all ages, aspirations and musical preferences.
