Jonathan Williams began studying piano and voice at age 7. He continued to study music, adding various instruments along the way, and eventually earned his Bachelor's of Science in Music Composition with a minor in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA. He then took an academic break from music and attended Harvard University in Cambridge, MA for graduate school to study Software Engineering. Now his full-time position is software engineer.
Jonathan has taught private music lessons in piano, guitar, voice, bass guitar, ukulele, mandolin, and music theory at various institutions in California and Ohio since 2011. He loves teaching music to both children and adults and strives to keep his students engaged and motivated.
In addition to teaching, Jonathan conducts, composes, and still sings professionally. His various musical endeavors have allowed him to perform at the Beijing Olympics, Vatican City, Carnegie Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, and numerous other venues and events both domestically and abroad.
