Educational Sales Rep
Joey Resendez has earned high regard as both a saxophone performer and educator. He serves as soprano/alto saxophonist for the Lone Star Wind Orchestra as well as the East Texas Symphony and Las Colinas/Arlington/Garland Symphonies. Joey is the recipient of the Co-op Press Recording Grant and will soon release his first compact disc under the Emeritus label. As a guest soloist, Resendez has appeared with ensembles such and the Michigan Pops Orchestra and the Baylor University Wind Ensemble. His students place annually in the Texas All-State Bands and many have gone on to pursue music as a career. Currently he is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of North Texas and holds degrees from Baylor University and the University of Michigan. His principal instructors include Dr. Eric Nestler, Donald Sinta, and Dr. Michael Jacobson.
