About Josh Williams

Josh is a freelance musician and educator with nearly 25 years of experience in music performance. As an instructor, he has taught for various high school band programs such as: Bonita, Duarte, Bassett, and South Pasadena area High Schools. Josh is currently the Band Director for the University of La Verne Band, which he founded in spring of 2012. Josh currently performs for a professional brass quintet in Pasadena.

Over the past 10 years, Josh has designed an ever-evolving approach aimed at finding each students’ strengths in an effort to present, to them, new challenges on a daily basis. He believes in a completely organic process to help build every students’ ability to operate their chosen musical instrument as well as develop a strong performance etiquette to take with them through their educational career.
