Over 10 Years Experience in Los Angeles, Performed with Jude Crossen and Robin
I have over fifteen years of experience in music performance, both in studio and live shows, and have played with various groups and ensembles in St. Louis, Los Angeles, and Hollywood. I am passionate in my belief that anyone can learn how to play and write music.
I believe in tailoring my lessons to fit the students individual needs and wants. In addition to this, I strive to maintain quality instruction that helps the student meet his or her personal goals. Passing along the love and knowledge of music, performing, and playing an instrument is a high priority within my lessons!
I recommend method books by Mel Bay or Hal Leonard, and I also like to use flash cards to aid in music theory and notation instruction. I like to work with students on chord progressions and scales, and I specialize in teaching guitar solo improvisation. Because of this, I also recomend Hal Leonard Chord and Scale Finders.
My favorite instrument brands are: Fender, ESP, Gibson, and Epiphone, and my guitar of choice is a Gibson Cherry SG.
