About Me

Leif Autzen is a graduate of Otterbein University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a concentration in Music History and Literature.  He has taken voice lessons sicne the age of fourteen, and began playing the recorder during his undergraduate studies.  During his time at Otterbein hedireced a vocal consort with in the school's early music ensemble, toured internationally with the school's concert choir, participated in numerous operas, and completed a thesis on the Black Death on European music history.  In addition to teaching music lessons, Mr. Autzen also sings regularly in the choir of St. Alban's Episcopal Church, and has written program notes for the Westerville Symphony.

In his spare time, Mr. Autzen enjoys watching cartoons, playing video games, hiking, reading and historical re-enactments.  He lives in Westerville with his family and their dog.
