About Kayla Kussrow
Kayla is originally from Wisconsin, and moved to southern California in 2015. She has her Bachelor of Arts in General Music from Carroll University, and has been playing piano for 21 years. Kayla has competed in 4 state music festivals, placing first in every one. She was a member of a piano ensemble at Carroll University, and did a lot of accompanying for both instrumentalists and vocalists from middle school through college. She was a member of her church band in Wisconsin for 8 years and is currently a member of the gospel choir at Fellowship Monrovia church. Kayla sang with the Masterworks Festival Chorus in 2014, where she had the incredible opportunity to perform Ralph Vaughn Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem at Carnegie Hall in New York.
Music has been a huge part of Kayla’s life since she was born, and her goal is to share that love with all of her students.
