Kaylyn Kinney is a professor who teaches college courses in flute, piano, and a variety of music theory, music history, and aural skills classes. Currently she teaches for Pikes Peak Community College, the Colorado Springs Conservatory, Music and Arts, serves as a clinician for school districts D11, D12, & D38, and maintains her own private studio. Ms. Kinney received her Bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College, her Masters degree from Peabody Conservatory, and is currently finishing her Doctorate in Music Education from Boston University. Additionally, she holds a Professional Certificate in Arts Management from SUNY Purchase, and she has worked administratively for the Aspen Music Festival and as a consultant for the Colorado College Summer Music Festival.
