About Kenneth

Ken began his teaching career for Music and Arts in 1996.  He is a 1999 graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Guitar Performance.  He has performed up and down the East Coast with various bands.  He has toured as an opening act for the band Clutch with the Ginada Pinata band and has performed on the Mall in Washington, DC with the hip-hop band Malachi.  He performed for the Sheila Dixon for mayor campaign tour and was a regular musician for the Gaylord Hotel’s grand opening in 2008.  Ken has performed in a variety of settings including festivals, private fundraisers, Rock the Vote at the University of Maryland, and the Sunshine Daydream Tour,


Ken has been working as a professional musician for the last 15 years teaching and performing in several venues on the east coast.  He has taught individual lessons and master classes at various stores in Maryland.  Many of his students have gone on to pursue music degrees and many of his students have formed successful bands that are working and touring.  Ken considers himself an expert on the art of improvisation and song writing.
