Lauren Shriver has a passion for music and a love of teaching. She received her Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from Capital University and her Master of Music degree in vocal performance and pedagogy from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey.

Lauren has performed as a professional chorister for many organizations including the Spoleto Festival U.S.A. and Opera Philadelphia. As a member of the Westminster Symphonic Choir, Lauren performed several major works with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic and the Berlin Philharmonic. She also sang in the chorus for the 2011 PBS special “Andrea Bocelli: Live in Central Park”. Lauren has performed several operatic roles including: Third Lady (Die Zauberflöte), Bradamante (Alcina), Hippolyta (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), The Fairy Queen (Iolanthe) and Antonia’s Mother (Les Contes d’Hoffmann).

Lauren enjoys teaching students of all ages and ability levels. She tailors her vocal instruction to the student, with the understanding that vocal performance and development is extremely personal. She strives to create a positive and safe learning environment that maximizes student potential through a combination of coaching and method training.
