About Joannie Fleischer
Joannie is a recent graduate of Baylor University’s School of Music. Growing up loving music, she began piano lessons when she was five years old and voice lessons when she was in middle school. During high school, she began to learn guitar as well. She has been teaching private voice and piano lessons for the past two years.
Joannie participated in choir throughout all her middle school, high school, and college years. During high school, she competed in UIL Solo and Ensemble as both a vocalist and a pianist. Additionally, she competed in the Texas All-State choir competition. Due to this, she understands the process well for any students who also wish to compete in these avenues. Additionally, she played piano as a church pianist during college as well as participated in other musical services on Baylor’s campus.
“My teaching philosophy is to empower students to express themselves through music. I will help my students grow in confidence, authenticity, and skill in both music and in every-day life. My goal is for students to leave lessons with a smile, loving music even more than when they walked in.”
