About Lucile

Bachelor of Music Education: College of Mt. St. Joseph

Graduate studies in Music History, Music Ed: Eastern Illinois University

Harpsichord Studies, American Conservatory: Chicago, IL

For the past 30 years I have enjoyed teaching piano to students from kindergarten through high school. While at Westminster Conservatory, I worked with retirees as well as children as young as 4 years of age.

My objectives for my students are to learn the fundamentals of music while experiencing their preferred style, whether it is classical, jazz, or popular. I have been successful in keeping many of my students engaged because they can freely communicate the kind of music that they would like to learn while being carefully and correctly guided toward a sound foundation in piano technique and theory.
