Madeleine Klee, better known as Maddy, is a violinist originally from St. Petersburg, Florida. She holds a M.M. degree in Violin Performance and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Musicology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she studied with Marjorie Bagley, as well as a B.A. in Music degree with a minor in English Literature from the Florida State Univeristy, where she studied with Corinne Stillwell. Maddy has performed in solo masterclasses with Caroline Goulding, Shannon Thomas, and Mari Sato, as well as in chamber masterclasses with the Beo String Quartet and Attacca String Quartet. She has spent her summers at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival, Varna International Music Festival, Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, and Brevard Music Center, where she was a Resident Advisor. Madeleine has enjoyed playing with regional orchestras in North Florida/South Georgia area, including the Panama City Pops Orchestra and Albany Symphony Orchestra. She currently performs with the Greensboro Opera and Wilmington Symphony Orchestra.


Maddy began taking violin lessons with the Suzuki method, and she continues to use its philosophy in her own practice and methodology in her teaching. Maddy seeks to create an environment that is welcoming for everyone, where students can feel safe and comfortable. She is dedicated to guiding her students through their present goals while also helping them realize new aspirations, all while developing and maintaining a healthy relationship with music and the violin.
