About Mark Frazier
Mark Frazier’s background is that of a church musician, having served as Director of Music Ministry in churches in North Carolina, Iowa, Ohio, Virginia, New Hampshire, and Maryland. He has been the Director of Music Ministries at Millian Methodist Church, Rockville, MD since January of 2013. He directs the Chancel and Handbell Choirs, oversees the Children's Music Ministry, and works with the Praise Music Leader. While in Ohio, he had the rare privilege of being called upon to accompany Metropolitan Opera Singer Kathleen Battle in a program for the public schools of Scioto County, Ohio. In the 1990's, he was included as one of the five "government approved" private contract organists for Weddings and funerals at the Fort Myer Army Base in Arlington, VA. He has served as aural programmer and synthesist for diverse theatrical groups and for the Washington Vocal Consortium. He holds an undergraduate degree in Music Composition from the College of Wooster in Wooster, OH, and a Masters in Organ Performance from the University of Iowa.
