About Martheine Ludwig
Martheine has played violin for 36 years and has 20 years’ experience teaching violin, viola and cello. During high school she has participated in many things including Wichita Youth Symphony, Interlochen National Music Camp, and was chosen as one of three students in the state of Kansas to be part of the National Orchestra, which performed at the Kennedy Center her senior year. She went on to get a degree in Music Education from Wichita State University, studying privately under Dr. Won Bin Yim and Mr. David Perry. Currently Martheine performs with the Irish Celtic Group, Heirloom.
Martheine taught orchestra and strings in the FWISD four years and continues teaching professionally to private students. She provides clear lessons plans that includes goals and achievement levels. Her students learn songs while they get the full academic benefits of music education.
Martheine’s love for teaching and students come through in her teaching and how she relates to them. One thing that excites her is to see her students learn and grow as people and musicians. Martheine commits to ensure that every student she teaches flourish in learning their instrument through lessons that can be customized to the student’s needs.
