About Mary Rogowski
I have been teaching Piano and Voice for Music and Arts since 2001. I love teaching music to all ages (4-adult). I have a lot of patience and have done some wonders with autistic and children with many learning problems. My goals are to motivate each and every student through making music fun for them. I am an Organist and Choir Director for Nichols-Bethel UMC and have been doing this kind of work since I graduated high school in 1976. I hold two student recitals a year at this church and enjoy having the vocals perform not only their solos, but with each other as a group. We have done many musical pieces including Hairspray, Wicked, Mamma Mia, Seasons of Love, and many others. We also have covered a variety of genres including Musical theater, classical and contemporary style music. My degrees are an Associates degree from Anne Arundel Community College and a Bachelors degree from The Catholic University of America. I have also taught in the public school system, but prefer teaching music to all that are there to learn, not just because they have to be in class.
