About Matthew Jacobs
“I fell in love with playing guitar since first taking lessons in high school. Ever since, I have studied music intently and been involved with many schools, ensembles, and performances around New England. I try to teach all styles and introduce various techniques to help the students achieve a broader understanding for their craft. Helping the student discover what they never knew is enriching to even all aspects of life. I hope to share my joy of the art with whoever decides to learn from me.”
Matt has B.A. in Jazz Composition from Berklee College of Music and is co-founder for A Common Thread Theatre Company. He performs regularly with jazz groups and an original rock band.
