About Me
A native of Prince George’s County, Mr.Rowland began his musical journey as a keyboardist at age 9. At 14, he continued his endeavors as a lead trumpeter of the Largo High School band program. Earning his Bachelor’s of Arts in Music Education from Delaware State University (2019) Mr. Rowland has since continued his career as a music educator. While at DSU, his primary brass instructors were Patrick Hoffman, DMA, and Frank Gazda, DMA. As a dedicated musician, Mr.Rowland has arranged and composed works for several programs including the DSU Approaching Storm Marching Band, the Largo High School Blue & White Marching Machine, and various chamber ensembles. Also, he is a member of Mosaic Affinity; a local Neo-Funk & Soul band.
