Micca Page began her musical studies at the age of 7 in her hometown of Tucson, Arizona. After attending Rocky Ridge Music Center for 5 summers, she decided to major in music and was accepted at the Eastman School. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance in 2016 from Eastman, and earned her Master’s Degree at the University of Maryland in 2019. She has principally studied with Federico Agostini, Juliana Athayde, and David Salness and performed as a fellow with the National Orchestral Institute. She performed on the 2018 National Orchestral Institute Naxos recording with David Alan Miller that was later nominated for a Grammy. Additionally, in 2019 she was a Performing Artist with the Zodiac Festival in Valdebore, France, and has performed in masterclasses with Vadim Gluzman, David Kim, the Ying Quartet, and the Australian String Quartet. In addition to teaching and performing locally in the DMV area, she works for the Education Department of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Page is passionate about bringing classical music to a variety of audiences beyond the concert hall, and educating the next generation of classical performers.
