Hello I am Nelson Miranda Store Manager of the Wilmington DE location . I have been working for Music & Arts since November 2012.  The core values that we stand for are the reason why I love this company.  Our focus on helping to make the next generation of music makers is what drives me to make our location, an educative, informative and enjoyable oasis.  I was exposed to music since I was an infant and immediately was captivated by the emotion that player conveys to people.  Once I started to play the trumpet at age 14 It changed my life.  I have had the privilege of perfoming at some of the most prestigious music venues in Philadelphia. From the Kimmel Center with the Holiday Pops Chorus, to Academy of Music with James Taylor. I studied Jazz Performance at the University Of the Arts and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelors in Jazz Performance with a minor in Music Education.  I worked with a Non Profit Organization called Artist and Musicians of Latin America in Philadelphia, coaching a Youth Latin Jazz Ensemble.  I also perform across the Tri-State Area as a freelance trumpet player, Having backed up Artist such as Latin Recording Artist, Ismael Miranda, Tito Rojas, Paquito Guzman just to name a few...

 I currently play on a Bach 37 standard weight as well as the Kanstul 1600 trumpet.  These have been horns which I have had a great deal of success. Through my passion and respect for all musical instruments I have built a great deal of knowledge on many brands, that teachers highly recommend. For example we carry Yamaha, Buffet, Selmer, Yanagisawa, Keilwerth etc... for woodwinds. Now for brass we carry Bach, Yamaha, Schilke, Jupiter, Kanstul trumpets, Trombones Bach, Conn, Yamaha, Shires by Eastman. These are just a few of the ones we carry...

Along with my staff we are focused on helping to grow the musical community and bring awareness to the wonderful things music can do for the world. Feel free to come by and take a tour of our wonderful store!! I speak Spanish fluently and can assist with any questions you may have. Se Habla Espanol, con confianza pueden venir a nuestro lugar y mis servicios estan disponibles!! Did I mention we have a REPAIR SHOP ON SITE!! Thats right we have one of the best technicians on the east coast named Alex! He does work on Band and Woodwind instruments! Our String instruments go to tech that has over 25 years of experience at the Horsham Store!
