In 2017 Miller won first place at the International Women Brass Conference Susan Slaughter Solo Trumpet Competition (Category I). She also has been previously a semi-finalist in the Graduate Solo and the Ensemble Divisions at the National Trumpet Competition. She has participated in prestigious summer festivals and seminars such as Atlantic Music Festival, Marrowstone Music Festival, Chosen Vale International Trumpet Seminar, and Summer Brass Institute and Festival.

As a chamber musician, she is a founding member of the Category V Brass quintet and has frequently performed with the Capital City Brass Quintet.  As an orchestral performer, Miller is currently the second trumpeter with the Aiken Symphony Orchestra, a member of the Columbia Chamber Orchestra, and the Bruch Chamber Orchestra.

As an educator, Miller has taught beginners through professional army musicians. Miller is currently on the faculty at Columbia College (SC) where she teaches applied trumpet and maintains her private studio through Music & Arts.  She was previously on the faculty of the Carolina Summer Music Conservatory, the University of South Carolina Community Music School, the US Army Band contracted music teacher (for the trumpeters in the 282), and frequently presents masterclasses in local high schools.

Noa Miller completed her Master's degree in Trumpet Performance studying with Alan Siebert and Phil Collins at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and her undergraduate degree studying with John Schlabach at Ohio University.
