Paul Pfaff is a classical/finger-style guitarist who grew up on Long Island, New York. He started playing the guitar at age 12. In high school Paul began playing in rock and metal bands, studying electric guitar , privately, with a great Long Island local player, Jeff Denny. Then in college he went on to study classical guitar with GFA memeber, Michael Belajonas at Suffolk County Community College in New York where he received an Associates degree in Music. Next Paul attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas ( UNLV ) to major in music composition and play in the guitar ensemble under the direction of Ricardo Cobo. Paul has given masterclasses for the Long Island Classical Guitar Society at LIU and is currently finishing a certification in music business and technology at the College of Southern Nevada ( CSN ). Paul also enjoys teaching, composing and playing hockey.
