About Rachelle

I started playing at the age of 3 by copying my older brother. From then on, it was a passion of mine. I truly believe music is a therapy both mentally and physically. I love teaching others! Though it may not be their passion, I love making it fun. I love the interaction no matter what age. Music is important, especially piano. Piano is such a great foundation and can help with dexterity as well as learning basic things like ryhthm and reading music. I love to use the Alfred series in my lessons beacuse it is so well-rounded. I also use several other supplemental books based on the musical interests of the student. I like to play games with my students to reinforce learning. I love to sing, so I'm always trying to incorporate that so the student can feel free to sing along while they play!
