Sarah

Since the age of five, violin has been a part of Sarah Larsen’s life. Born to a musical mother and a supportive father, Sarah’s violin playing has taken her all over the world and introduced her to all kinds of people. In her travels, she’s been lucky enough to meet folks from all realms of music.

Sarah’s training has been as a classical musician, but recently you can find her playing bluegrass, jazz, and swing. Past projects include VOX4, a traditional string quartet with alternative stylings. Currently you can find her with Tempo del Fuoco, a fiery classical duo featuring Nick Cutroneo; the Jersey Corn Pickers, a hard-driving bluegrass band with members from South Jersey and Philadelphia; the Belleville Quartet, a gypsy swing quartet based in West Philadelphia; and her newest project Harper and the Bell, which features bluegrass instrumentation and big ideas about harmony.
