Areas of Instruction
Sharon Majeske Chari was born into a family of professional musicians. She began her piano studies with her mother, Marilyn Majeske, and later studied with Theodore Lettvin, Marianne Mastics, and then with Eunice Podis at the Cleveland Institute of Music. While there, she earned her Bachelors of Music degree with a Performance Major. Ms. Majeske Chari has has performed in the US, including numerous joint recitals with her father, Daniel Majeske, concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra. She has also appeared in solo performances in Costa Rica, Israel, and India. She received an Award of Excellence in Israel. Sharon Majeske Chari has been teaching piano for over 30 years. She has continued to expand her method of teaching to better her students' needs. She has taught in Costa Rica, Israel, and India. While in India she was a music teacher at the renowned Good Shepard International School in Qoty Tamil Nadu, India.
