About Sheree Bower
Sheree has a lifetime love of music that started when she began her favorite instrument, the piano, at the age of six. She is a graduate from the University of Texas at Arlington with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-4 Generalist, Kansas State University with an A.S. in Retail Floriculture, and Tarrant County College with an Associate of Arts. She has also studied Music Education at Manhattan Christian College. Her TEA certifications include: Music EC-12, Special Education, Gifted and Talented, English as a Second Language and Generalist EC-8. She is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association.
She recently taught AP Music Theory, High School and Middle School Choir 1, Music Theory 1, General Music, Resource Special Education, Dyslexia, and after school Show Choir, Band and UIL Music Memory Clubs at Harmony School of Innovation-Fort Worth. At Holy Cross Christian Academy in Burleson, she taught Elementary Music and Stomp Percussion and aided in the kindergarten classrooms. She enjoys playing keys in the band at Southwest Christian Church in Ft. Worth, and has previously directed children's choirs and musicals there. She was the captain of the color guard and a mallet percussionist in Lawrence High School Band, and a violinist in the Lawrence High School Orchestra and the Youth Symphony in Lawrence, Kansas.
Sheree's goal is to teach students in a fun, encouraging, safe, constructive and nurturing environment, while challenging them to use their creative talents to their fullest potential.
