About Timothy Reinholz

Timothy Reinholz is a violist and composer working with classical, jazz, and electronic music. He received his Bachelors of Music in composition from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 2018 where he studied with Keith Fitch and Steven Kohn. He has also studied jazz with Russ Johnson and viola with Mark Jackobs of The Cleveland Orchestra.

He is familiar with Essential Elements and All for Strings in addition to using scale and etude books by Flesch, Schradieck, Kreutzer, Kayser, and Sevcik, among many others. Timothy's teaching philosophy is to push every student to the maximum of their potential. Every student is taught with personalized attention to achieve meaningful progress of which the student is proud.
