About Tristan Burgmann
Mr. Tristan Burgmann
Mr. Burgmann graduated from O'Fallon Township High School in 2011. He studied Music Education with Dr. Joe Manfredo, Dr. Kim McCord, and Trumpet with Dr. Amy Gilreath.
Tristan taught at Mascoutah Elementary School for 2 years where he taught choir, band, and general music. At MES, Mr. Burgmann organized a variety of performances, develop a district solo and ensemble contest, and work to develop a cohesive curriculum from K - 12th grade. Mr. Burgmann worked with the Mascoutah Marching Indians for 3 seasons as a Visual Staff. He helps with show design, rehearsal, and evaluating student performance and show design to improve upon the show. He has also helped with the Winter guard in 2018.
Currently Mr. Burgmann teachs Kindergarten through 8th grade music at Harmony-Emge District 175. This includes band and choir which have 2 concerts per year and a spring musical which performs one weekend each year. In January of 2019, Mr. Burgmann coordinated a community concert with the Belleville Philharmonic Orchestra.
Tristan regularly performs with community groups all around the Metro East.
