In April I will be performing in the Dallas Discovery Gardens with my Jazz band, I will also be performing in the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival with the 8 o'clock Lab Band


I am Currently a Music Education Major at UNT, I transferred from Richland College's Music Program, I went to Lake Highlands High School in Dallas TX

I have been the Section Manager for UNT's University Band where I lead our group sectionals, I was a Music Assistant in Richland College where I lead group rehearsals with the Richland Wind Symphony and Big Band

About Victor

Victor Mora is our brass instructor who specializes in low-brass and particularly tuba. He is a Music Education major at The University of North Texas where he plays with the UNT Green Brigade Marching Band as a section leader, The University Band as a Section Manager, and has even played trombone in the 8 o'clock Lab band. His current responsibilities include teaching beginner and intermediate Trumpet and Tuba here at Music and Arts, and also working as the Vice-President of the North Texas chapter of the International Tuba-Euphonium Association, where he schedules guest artists from around the world to come play and give master classes at the university for both Tuba and Euphonium. He transferred from DCCCD's Richland College in Dallas, TX, where he was taught by world class trombone players and learned from many UNT alumnae. He is a Dallas, TX native where he graduated from Lake Highlands High School. He is also married to Odalys Mendez who is an up-incoming Music Therapist, and enjoys playing with his new nephew-in-law.
