About Walter Bryan

A third-generation native Atlantan, Bryan Bishop received musical 
training from Clayton College and State University where he studied 
harpsichord with Dr. Daniel Pyle.  Since 1998 he has been the pianist 
and choir accompanist at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of 
Gwinnett in Lawrenceville.   From 2003 to 2007 he was the harpsichordist 
with the Da Salo Solisti Chamber Orchestra, with whom he performed the 
demanding solo harpsichord part of Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, 
and he has also performed in other Atlanta-area musical organizations 
including the Atlanta Concert Band, the Georgia Sinfonia, and the 
Metropolitan Chamber Players.  Since 2002 he has maintained an active 
teaching schedule.
