I have been a guitarist most of my life. I also sing, as well as play guitar, for a regional band called Stone Jack Ballers. I have taught for the Music School of Delaware, self employed, and for B&B before it became Music and Arts.
I have two children of my own I hope grow up with the passion for music that I have. I hope to instill that same passion in my students as well.
My goal is to make the lessons not only informative, but fun! That's why most students want to learn, to have fun! So it is my goal to show them how much fun playing an instrument like guitar is! Part of that is talking to the student, learning what kind of music they like. Other times its exposing them to new (in most cases "old") music they maybe haven't heard.
I also like to teach directly from Hal leonard or Mel bay complete guitar method book. But I will often supplement lessons with songs that apply to the difficulty level that will push the student to progress and be challenged!
