About Yas Khaleghi
Yas is a professional singer, songwriter, recording and performing artist based in Los Angeles. Yas began making music at the young age of 4 and performing internationally since 2007. She has played in a great variety of musical settings including band projects, musical theater performances, as well as numerous collaborative studio recordings.
Recently she has written music and provided vocals for German multinational motorcycles company BMW and the award winning advertising agency Jung von Matt.
Her versatility and adaptability within all genres of contemporary music is anchored by the strong foundation of the higher education in music that she attained at the prestigious Artez Conservatory in the Netherlands, Hamburg School of Music Germany, as well as California State University Northridge, graduating with both an AA degree and BM in Jazz & Pop performance.
Yas teaches voice at a wide range of skill level, as well as beginners piano, ukulele, drums and violin.
Every student brings different set of skills, experiences, musical abilities, personality traits and social behavior to the table. The ultimate goal is to inspire to explore and an ongoing appreciation for music.
