Performance Experience: Toured internationally with Los Skarnales. Regularly performed with Salmerum, Calle Swing, Bayou City Funk, Disco Expressions, Free Radicals. Substitute/one-time performances with Galveston Symphony, Archie Bell, Bobby Wilson, TMEA All State Band (2012).
Teaching Experience: 6 years of teaching private lessons and masterclasses with many band programs such as: North Shore High School and Middle School, Friendswood High School, Clear Creek High School, Twin Creeks Middle School, Crosby High School and Creekside Middle School.
Teaching Philosophy: Every student interacts with music in their own unique way, and all students deserve a teacher who will cater to their uniqueness. Whether a student wants to become a professional musician, or just wants to learn how to play their favorite song, all students should be encouraged and empowered while they pursue those goals.

Aaron Houzvicka is a performer, educator and composer currently in the Austin area. While studying Music Education at the University of Houston, Aaron had the pleasure of performing with a large variety of ensembles such as Houston Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees' Los Skarnales, Bayou City Funk and Salmerum. He has a passion for learning new instruments and performing live, but believes that the most important aspect of music is sharing what you've learned with the next generation of artists. He enjoys empowering young students with the knowledge and skills they will need to pursue any musical endeavor they choose!
