Get to know Abdala

Born in Colombia, South America to Lebanese parents, and with roots in Rock, Jazz and Latin music, Abdala's drumming style is unique. he has been teaching drums and percussion for 20+ years, both one on one and in group and classroom settings. Abdala"s teaching style is casual yet effective, as he focuses his attention on the learning style of the student, paying close attention not only to what the individual should practice, but also communicating ways to practice efficiently.


Abdala has performed or collaborated with acts such as Broadways favorite Lauren Kennedy, guitar virtuoso Guthrie Govan and has co-headlined tours with Corroson of Conformity.

he's also the music blogger for No Pop Magazine and runs @dalasdrumdojo, a multi-lingual online library of educational resources for drummers.
