Performance Experience: Professional guitarist since the age of 15, playing a variety of genres of music, including Jazz, Rock, Hip Hop.
Teaching Experience: 10 years of teaching experience from ages 3 to 80, all skill levels
Teaching Philosophy: Alex takes a highly individualized approach to teaching his students. He teaches theory and technique in a manner which incorporates the students favorite genre of music. This approach helps to keep students engaged in the material, while also developing key musical skills.
Get to know Alex Frondelli
Alex Frondelli is a guitarist/performer based out of Oceanside, NY. He began playing guitar at the age of 12 and began to pursue it professionally in high school, where he studied under guitarist Steve Salerno. He attended SUNY Purchase for his bachelors in Jazz Guitar in 2014, where he studied with with renowned guitarist Vic Juris. He then attended the University of North Texas in 2019, where he was a member of the One O' Clock Lab Band. Alex frequently performs in the LI/NYC area with various groups, including his own quartet.
