      Get to know Alexander Guiliano

      Alexander Guiliano is a two-time graduate of Syracuse University, earning his Bachelor's (2022) and Master's (2023) degrees in Music Education. A skilled clarinetist, he studied with Dr. Jill Coggiola at Syracuse University and Professor Denis Tempo at the Strasbourg Conservatory, Cité De La Musique et Danse. Proficient on all major woodwind instruments (flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, and bassoon), Alexander also possesses expertise in brass instruments, honed through his experience as a 5th and 6th grade band director in the Mexico Academy and Central School District. His performance experience includes ensembles such as the Brooklyn Wind Symphony, the Strasbourg Conservatory Wind Ensemble, the Syracuse University Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra, and various Central New York pit orchestras. Alexander prioritizes a student-centered approach to his teaching, tailoring lessons to individual needs and interests while fostering a love of music and building strong fundamental skills.
