Performance Experience: Performed with the Collin County Community Orchestra, the Richardson, Wylie, Mesquite, and Waco Community Bands, multiple church ensembles, Avalon Brass Quintet, multiple TAMU-C performing ensembles, and the TCCBDA All-State Band. On the substitute list for the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra.
Teaching Experience: Assistant Band Director for Dallas ISD, 5th Grade Music Teacher for Forney ISD, Paraprofessional Choir Director for Commerce ISD. Trombone Masterclass Teacher for Garland ISD. Private Lesson Teacher for Denison ISD, Farmersville ISD, Forney ISD, and Sulphur Springs ISD.
Teaching Philosophy: My approach is based on the foundations of music and the drive of my students. My students are engaged in our lessons and I help them push past their limits. This ensures not only that they master the basics of musicianship, but that they are able to enjoy applying the concepts they learn in their performing as well as in their every day lives.
