      Performance Experience: She has toured for seven years performing with the Blue Devils and Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps, including in Malaysia, Taiwan, Guatemala, and across Europe, and most recently employed by Kyodo Tokyo performing in the last 4 casts of “Blast!” and "Oto Utage" from 2016-2019 in Japan.
      Teaching Experience: She has taught trumpet privately for middle and high schools in Frisco, Prosper, Gunter, Lewisville, and Keller, as well as instructing BOA and UIL championship marching band programs.

      Get to know Amanda Bateman

      Amanda is currently a freelance trumpet player and teacher in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex as an Antigua Winds endorsed artist. She attained her degrees in Music Performance and Education from the University of North Texas where she studied with Allen Vizzutti, John Holt, and Jason Bergman. She also works with high school marching bands in the fall season, while having toured with Drum Corps International as a part of the Blue Devils ('10-'14) and Crossmen ('08-'09). She has performed in Malaysia, Taiwan, Guatemala, across Europe, and most recently Japan in the cast of "Blast! - The Music of Disney" ('16-'17).
