About Andrea Kurnat

Andrea or “Ms. K”, graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education a semester early in Winter 2014, and began working in long-term music positions in PA. Public positions include music and non-music positions in Lancaster, Reading, Hersey, and Harrisburg. She used her certification in K-12 vocal & instrumental, to direct and teach at the Milton Hershey School from 2017-2022. As the Senior Division Choir Director, she had the honor of conducting both the concert and show choir, vocal directed for the Spring musical, taught and wrote curriculum for guitar, piano and music history classes, as well as prepared students for college auditions. While working to finish her Post-BACC Masters degree in Music Therapy, she is currently working for the Bucks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU) as a long-term Floating substitute in Palisades & Pennridge SD's. She plans to use her experience & degree to start a music community surrounded by a farm-to-table music performance space.
