Get to know Andrew Bezila
I began playing trombone in middle school, then I was playing upright bass in the orchestra and jazz ensemble by the end of middle school. My parents got me my first electric bass at age 12, and I’ve been playing that ever since. Some of my influences are Sting, Charlie Parker, James Jamerson, Flea, Steve Harris, Bille Sheehan, Dee Dee Ramone and Roger Manganelli. I’ve probably played bass in your band or your friends band! I started off by playing along to punk CDs on my old boom box… Now I’ve played in wedding bands, jazz combos, r&b, math rock, top 40, but what I really love to do is rock and jazz. My favorite part is helping people learn to express themselves on their chosen instrument, and develop a life long love for music and take their playing to the next level.
